Alyssa is currently an Assistant professor at the University of Arizona.
Alyssa earned her Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from UBC in 2016, her M.A. from UBC in Social/Personality Psychology in 2011, and her B.A. from the University of Arizona in 2008. Her research interests span a wide range of topics within the realm of social/personality psychology.
She is drawn to all types of questions involving motivation, cognition and affect. She has a particular interest in how these processes relate to stigma, stereotyping and prejudice. To learn more about Alyssa’s ongoing research, please visit acroft.psych.ubc.ca.
