Myra Jain

Myra is a fourth-year Psychology Honours student at the University of British Columbia and a research assistant in the Social Identity Lab. She’s working on the Learning Affordances project, which investigates how teachers’ and parents’ gender essentialism beliefs shape gender-differentiated learning opportunities for children. Her research interests lie at the intersection of social, cultural, and developmental psychology. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, trying new creative projects, and spending time with friends.
