Chad Forbes, Ph.D.


Chad Forbes is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Florida Atlantic University.

Chad received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2009, his M.A in Social Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2006 and his B.A in Psychology from California State University in 2000.

His research interests include the role of systemic bias and social stereotypes on shaping the brain networks, self perceptions and health of stigmatized individuals. He is also interested in examining how stress can alter the interaction between brain networks to influence memory, emotion regulation and executive functioning.
